PAL Remote Teaching Program
Foster peer-to-peer learning, cross-cultural understanding, and equal access to education through impactful mentorship.
The PAL Remote English Teaching Program is an educational exchange and volunteering initiative launched by the Sun-Wright Non-profit Organization. Through this program, student volunteers take on the role of mentors, providing remote, one-on-one English tutoring to students across China.
At its core, PAL stands for Peer-Assisted Learning, emphasizing mutual support among peers, allowing students from different backgrounds to learn and grow together through meaningful communication.
Volunteers teach weekly 60-minute sessions, focusing on improving students’ language skills, confidence, and interest in English. Lessons combine learning content with engaging resources like videos, stories, and games to create a fun, interactive learning experience.
